ABOUT US

Mason County Medic One, commonly referred to as MCMO, provides advanced life support care and ambulance transport service to the city of Shelton and surrounding areas of Southern and Western Mason County. MCMO also provides mutual aid services to neighboring areas of Grays Harbor and Jefferson counties. Our organization has proudly provided these services for nearly a quarter century.

MCMO employs nearly 30 full and part-time emergency medical technicians and paramedics, and staffs two 24/7 mobile intensive care paramedic ambulances. A third ambulance is available during times of high demand for service.

MCMO ambulance crews respond from two primary stations in the county. Our main (south) station is located in the northwest sector of the city of Shelton. Our second (north) station is located on Highway 101, near the elbow of Hood Canal and the Skokomish Valley.
